Coatesville, PA – July 29, 2017 – After rains washed out most if not all of the local speedways last week, the G & H Motorsports team decided to travel to Selinsgrove Speedway to get some track time. The decision to adjust the schedule proved to be a good one as the team had a top 10 finish.
Selinsgrove Speedway, Saturday July 29th!
The annual Keystone 360 Nationals for the 360 sprint car had their first of three race nights on Saturday night with the Super Late Models and Pro Stocks also on the program. With Dan making only a few starts at Selinsgrove he started on the pole in the first heat race and crossed the line 3rd after the scheduled 8 laps but ended up 10 lbs light at the track scale which placed him last in the official heat finish. Dan started the Little Anthony’s Pizza and Grill #46 in 13th for the 25 lap feature event. Running the bottom of the track, Dan was able to get by several cars and with the car a little loose he crossed the finish line in 10th. It was a very smooth night for Dan and the team as it was only the third race for the new 2017 LASER X chassis.
Next Stop – Back to Selinsgrove Speedway!
The team will travel back to Selinsgrove Speedway on August 12th as Dan will race the #46 VIP DJ Entertainment Super Late Model in a Moon Shine Camo Route 35 Series Event. Gates will open at 5pm and we hope to see some fans in the stands!
Schedule!
The rest of the 2017 Schedule is being reviewed as the team has made some changes regarding the Limited car, please keep an eye on our Facebook page and website for places and time of where Dan and the team will be.
Friends Racing At Other Tracks!
Todd Lapp’s next scheduled event for the KLH Vintage car is Saturday Aug 19th at Grandview Speedway. Good luck Todd and team PB!
Congrats to Joe “Geezer” Fanelli for his best finish so far for the 2017 season in his #22 NASCAR 358 Modified at Grandview. Joe qualified for the feature by winning his heat race! The modified class runs a 30 lap feature and Joe had a very strong 8th place finish at the end of the night! Joe has had a year of discovery with the new 22 and this just shows you have to be patient in racing and keep working to make things better. Great job Joe!
Dan and team 46 wish you the best of luck next week as Grandview presents the Forest Rogers Memorial 50 lap feature event for the modifieds!
