Beginning in 2018, Phoenix Raceway will become ISM Raceway.
Tech company Ingenuity Sun Media has purchased the naming rights to the track for a multi-year deal starting next year. The partnership will also allow ISM to help with the installation of a groundbreaking digital fan engagement experience.
“We’re focused on building a world-class facility and the partnership with ISM will further enhance our technology capabilities and create opportunities to better engage with fans,” said Phoenix Raceway President Bryan R. Sperber. “ISM Raceway will serve as a premier motorsports and entertainment destination for generations to come.”
The move to ISM Raceway comes after the track dropped ‘International’ from its name earlier in the year to simply become Phoenix Raceway.
As part of the naming rights deal, ISM will provide digital display screens and a mobile app. The track is also already undergoing a $178-million renovation plan that’s scheduled to be complete by the end of next November that will help reconfigure the track.
