On Saturday we had our Quaker State Late Model on display for our newest sponsor, The Black Bull in Burlington. We were not racing that night, due to Sunset Speedway scheduling. The track set aside June 21st as a rain date for any night rained out, but there were no rain outs and so they closed for this day, letting us spend all day and into the early evening at The Black Bull. The weather was beautiful for this first annual Food Bank drive. My aunt Gloria is pictured here with another volunteer, helping make the day a great success.
Our car was located to bring in more customers and was a great opportunity to showcase all our awesome sponsors. When in the area visit The Black Bull and try their delicious menu, they also have a Banquet Hall for Weddings, Awards Banquets, Meetings or Seminars.
Double Header This Weekend Saturday the 28th & Sunday 29th
If weather permits we will reach our 700th Consecutive Night on Sunday. We have 4 kid’s bikes to give away plus a few hundred Frisbees for fans, staff of both the race track and OSCAAR, as well as a Frisbee for every racer on Sunday.
