INNISFIL, Ontario — After finishing seventh this past weekend at Sunset Speedway, Terry Woodley will return for the double-shot event in search of his 10th straight top-10 finish of the season.
Woodley started off Saturday night by finishing second in his heat, automatically qualifying him for the feature.
When it came time for the feature, he would draw the sixth starting spot for the 25-lap main event. He would escape the first lap spin by a competitor to move up a pair of spots to fourth. He would continue to move up, passing Kendra Adams for third before the caution flew on lap four for an incident behind him.
On the restart, Woodley would get by Jake Watson to move into second, but would get bumped back to fourth as Eric Yorke and Warren Paxton made their way through the field. He would then fall back to fifth at the halfway point after being passed by Jordan Howse. The fall would continue with two more passes, bumping him back to seventh at lap 15.
He would battle hard for the rest of the feature, continuing to post solid laps, crossing the finish line in the seventh spot. As noted previously, the seventh place finish marked his ninth straight top-10 finish, dating back to a trip to Sauble Speedway.
