INNISFIL, Ontario — When Eric Yorke takes to the track this weekend at Sunset Speedway, he’ll be searching for his third straight top-five finish following a fifth and a third in the last two events.
The last time he was at Sunset Speedway, Yorke finished third in his heat and the fast qualifier’s dash before starting eighth in the feature. He then avoided an incident on the opening lap incident to move up to sixth. He would then move up a pair more spots to fourth before the second caution on lap four for an incident behind him.
He would then move up to third on the restart, though would fall back to third with six laps to go as a result of a pass by Warren Paxton. He would then run third for the rest of the feature.
Special thanks to Can-Alignment Motorsports, Milton Napa Auto Parts, J&D Tire, Solex Steel, McKeown Collision, Partimer Signs, Ancaster Embroidery, Country Girl Designs and Skytec Rentals for their support.
