INNISFIL, Ontario — Following an early spin in the b-main, Lisa DeLeeuw would fail to qualify for the Velocity 250 presented by McColl Racing Enterprises at Sunset Speedway.
DeLeeuw started off the weekend on Saturday by finishing 11th in both of her heats. As a result, she wouldn’t one of the 18 drivers to automatically transfer to the A-Main, forcing her to run the b-main.
In Sunday’s b-main, DeLeeuw started off well, but would be spun on lap three by Stefan Woyslaw. Restarting at the rear of the field, she would only be able to get back to the seventh spot. With only the top-five transferring to the main event, she would not qualify.
