RUSSELLVILLE, KY— Hamilton-Hughes Racing (HHR) has agreed to a contract with Ellicott City, MD’s Ray Ciccarelli to drive the No. 63 Dodge in the season-opening Lucas Oil 200 at Daytona, along with a few other events during the ARCA Racing Series season. Ciccarelli, 46, has a total of five ARCA Racing Series starts with a career-best 19th at IRP and Berlin in 2014. He also has 3 career NASCAR K&N East Series starts, with a best finish of 15th at Waterford in 2006.
“I’m really excited to have the opportunity to run races this year in the ARCA Racing Series with HHR and Bobby,” said Ciccarelli. “Can’t thank them enough for all the hard work putting us together some good cars. I enjoy the ARCA Racing Series, it’s a great organization to show up and have fun. I look forward to continue to bring awareness to living with Chron’s disease and with an Ostomy bag in hopes to encourage people like me to never give up chasing your dreams and living your life to the fullest.”
The rest of Ray’s 2016 plans will be revealed at a later date.
