Unfortunately, Saturday night didn’t go as Robert Toope intended as he’d fail to finish the feature.
He’d start off the night solidly, finishing second in his heat, followed by a fourth place finish in the Dash for Cash.
Starting 12th in the feature, Toope was set on making his way forward quickly, running 10th with 16 laps to go. Unfortunately, Toope’s night came to an end on shortly thereafter as on Lap 8, he made his way down pit road with a mechanical issue. He’d be credited with a 16th place finish.
Toope will be back at Sunset Speedway on Saturday night in search of his 10th top-10 of the season.
