Chris Eggleston, who is making his second NASCAR Camping World Truck Series start of the season, paced the only practice today at Texas Motor Speedway.
Eggleston ran a lap of 29.853 seconds in his No. 54 GlobeSprinkler.com/H20 Fire Protection Inc. Toyota. Noah Gragson, Johnny Sauter, Stewart Friesen and Grant Enfinger rounded out the top-five. Only 26 of the 33 trucks entered got on track for practice.
Spencer Davis ran the most laps of any truck, running 30 laps during the session. Gragson ran 28 laps, Dalton Sargeant ran 27 laps and Todd Gilliland ran 26 laps. The best 10 consecutive lap average went to Johnny Sauter with Spencer Davis in second and Joe Nemechek in third.
The second scheduled practice was canceled for rain.
Qualifying is scheduled to take place tomorrow at 5:45 p.m. EST on FS1. The green flag is set to drop at approximately 9:19 p.m. tomorrow evening with the broadcast also scheduled to be televised by FS1.
