GMS Racing announced on Monday, January 20th that Spencer Gallagher will run the full NASCAR Camping World Truck Series in 2015 behind the wheel of the No. 23 Allegiant Travel Chevrolet Silverado.
“A full season in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series for GMS Racing is something I have been looking forward to for a long time. We all made a lot of progress and noise throughout 2014. I cannot wait to be behind the wheel for all 23 events,” Gallagher said.“I know Brandon (Jones) and I have the equipment and personnel behind us to go race for wins.”
Gallagher made his Truck Series debut in 2013 at Kansas Speedway, and has made 12 starts in the past two seasons. Last year, he scored a career best third place finish at Talladega Superspeedway. He will be working with veteran crew chief Jeff Stankiewicz.
“Spencer Gallagher is going to be someone to keep an eye on in 2015”, Nic Moncher, GMS Racing team manager, said, “as we have all watched him progress over the last few years. We are excited to take on a full season with him and know he will succeed. Spencer brings a certain level of enthusiasm to the garage area that is infectious to all of our guys; it’s a great benefit for our team to have him in the truck.”
